Currently, the game is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC and has been since its release date on January 18. You begin your adventure as Nobody, a pale androgynous humanoid who wakes up without any memories (or pants). This game is the kind of game you'd boot up without an issue on the Nintendo Switch to play for a bit in Handheld mode, that's for sure. When the ancient Calamity re-awakens, who can save the world Nobody (That's you, you're Nobody.) Master the art of transformation to become a Slug, Ghost, Dragon, and more in this new take on Action RPGs from the creators of Guacamelee Complete quests to discover and swap between 15+ varied and distinct Forms. The villagers speak of a Calamity coming, and it can. So it isn't strange to see an expansion into other consoles such as the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. Nobody Saves the World sees you playing the role of a pale, fleshy, zombie creature who wakes up in a small hut with no memory of its past. The game has received tons of critical and user praise. Nobody Saves the World won’t completely change your world, but it should brighten it a bit. Nobody Saves the World is a lively, funny, and original take on the well-trodden Diablo-style action RPG that’s held back only slightly by a few sticky structural issues. An addictive quest system, surprisingly deep class system, attractive art style, and punchy combat all come together to make for a varied and engaging experience that oozes quality at every turn. The game also includes two-player online co-op, which can’t help but make a game like this more fun. Nobody Saves the World is a thrillingly well-paced and enjoyable action adventure that Switch owners won’t want to miss.
The game’s Zelda-esque overworld and dungeons are brought to life with beautiful, vivid visuals, the soundtrack by Canadian indie rock star Jim Guthrie is a banger, the basic action is responsive and satisfying, and enemies and bosses are well-designed. Looking beyond the game’s classes and progression, Nobody Saves the World is a good, fundamentally-sound ARPG.
